These Terms of Use ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the Aanandam mobile application and related services (collectively, the "App"), provided by Adwicorp Services Private Limited ("Aanandam", "we", "us", or "our"). By downloading, accessing, registering on, or otherwise using the App, you agree to be bound by these Terms and by our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated herein by reference. If you do not agree to these Terms, please do not use the App.
Aanandam is a spiritual companion app designed to enhance mindfulness and well-being. The App provides daily mantras for meditation, step-by-step guides, and audio sessions, along with mindfulness resources, devotional content such as stotras and ashtakams, inspirational quotes, and HD wallpapers to help users cultivate peace, focus, and a deeper spiritual connection.
The App is intended for general use, including use by children under the supervision of a parent or legal guardian. To create and manage an Aanandam account, you must be at least 18 years of age, or the age of majority in your jurisdiction, or you must have the involvement and consent of a parent or legal guardian. By registering an account, you represent that the information you provide is accurate and that you meet these eligibility requirements.
To access certain features of the App, you may be required to create an account using one of the following methods:
You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account and for all activities that occur under it. You agree to provide accurate, current, and complete information during registration and to promptly update such information if it changes. You must not impersonate any person or provide a phone number or account that you are not authorized to use.
SMS Consent: By providing your mobile phone number and using SMS-based login or any other feature of the App, you agree to receive SMS text messages from Aanandam, including One-Time Password (OTP) verification codes and, where you have not opted out, promotional and marketing messages such as mantras and devotional content, festival greetings and reminders, feature announcements, and promotional offers.
When using the App, you agree that you will not:
All content available through the App — including mantras, audio recordings, guides, text, graphics, logos, wallpapers, and software — is owned by or licensed to Aanandam and is protected by applicable intellectual property laws. Subject to your compliance with these Terms, we grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to access and use the App and its content for your personal, non-commercial use only. You may not reproduce, distribute, publicly display, or create derivative works from any content on the App without our prior written consent.
Aanandam is currently offered free of charge. We reserve the right to introduce paid features, subscriptions, or in-app purchases in the future. If we do so, the applicable pricing and additional terms will be clearly communicated to you within the App before you are charged, and your continued use of any such paid feature will be subject to those additional terms.
The App may contain links to third-party websites, platforms, or services (such as Google Sign-In or social media pages) that are not owned or controlled by Aanandam. We are not responsible for the content, privacy practices, or terms of use of any third-party services. Your use of such third-party services is at your own risk and subject to their respective terms.
The App and its content are provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis, without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied. The devotional and spiritual content, mantras, and guides provided on the App are intended for informational and mindfulness purposes only and do not constitute medical, psychological, legal, or professional advice. Aanandam does not guarantee that the App will be uninterrupted, error-free, or completely secure.
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Aanandam and its officers, directors, employees, and affiliates shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of data, revenue, or profits, arising out of or related to your use of, or inability to use, the App, even if we have been advised of the possibility of such damages.
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Aanandam and its officers, directors, employees, and affiliates from any claims, liabilities, damages, losses, and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising out of or in any way connected with your use of the App, your violation of these Terms, or your violation of any rights of a third party.
We may suspend or terminate your access to the App at any time, with or without notice, including if we believe you have violated these Terms, engaged in fraudulent or unlawful activity, or for any other reason at our discretion. You may stop using the App and delete your account at any time through the App's account settings. Provisions relating to intellectual property, disclaimers, limitation of liability, and indemnification shall survive any termination of these Terms.
These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of India. Any disputes arising out of or in connection with these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the competent courts at Haridwar, Uttarakhand, India.
Aanandam may update these Terms from time to time to reflect changes in our services, features (such as new login methods), or applicable law. We will notify you of any material changes by posting the updated Terms within the App or through other appropriate communication channels. Your continued use of the App after such changes take effect constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms.
