Aanandam Privacy Policy

1. Collection of Information

Aanandam may collect and process information from you, either directly through your use of the App or indirectly through any engagement with us. The information we may collect includes but is not limited to:

Information that you voluntarily provide, such as your name, contact details, gender, date of birth, and any other information that you choose to provide.
Information collected automatically when you use the App, such as your device information, IP address, and browsing behavior.
Information collected from your google account includes your full name, email address, and profile picture of your Google profile
Your mobile phone number, when you register or log in using SMS-based OTP (One-Time Password) verification.
Device and advertising identifiers (such as your Google Advertising ID), collected through Google AdMob, used to serve and measure ads within the App.
Crash logs and diagnostic data (such as device model, operating system version, and app performance data), collected through Firebase Crashlytics, used to identify and fix technical issues.
Information obtained from third parties if you choose to connect your account with third-party platforms.

2. Use of the Information

Aanandam may use the information collected for the following purposes:

To provide and improve the services offered through the App.
To personalize your experience and provide you with relevant content and recommendations.
To analyze usage patterns and trends to enhance the functionality and performance of the App.
To communicate with you, respond to your inquiries, and provide customer support.
To send you promotional materials, marketing content, and updates about the App via SMS, push notifications, WhatsApp, or email, subject to your preferences and applicable laws (see "SMS, Push Notifications & Marketing Communications" below).
To display and measure the performance of advertisements served within the App through Google AdMob.
To identify, diagnose, and fix crashes and stability issues through Firebase Crashlytics.
To enforce our terms of use and protect the rights, property, and safety of Aanandam and its users.
For any other purpose with your consent or as required or permitted by law.
User authentication and account setup: We use your Google profile information or your mobile phone number (via SMS-based OTP verification) to create and authenticate your Aanandam account.

3. SMS, Push Notifications & Marketing Communications

SMS Consent: By providing your mobile phone number and using SMS-based login or any other feature of the App, you agree to receive SMS text messages from Aanandam, including One-Time Password (OTP) verification codes and, where you have not opted out, promotional and marketing messages such as mantras and devotional content, festival greetings and reminders, feature announcements, and promotional offers.

No mobile information, including your phone number or SMS opt-in consent, is shared or sold to any third party or affiliate for their own marketing or promotional purposes. Your opt-in data is used solely to send you the messages described in this section. See our Terms of Use for the terms governing your use of the App.

Message and data rates may apply.
You can unsubscribe from marketing and promotional communications at any time from within the App, via Settings > Notification Preferences, or by using the unsubscribe/opt-out option provided in the message itself. Opting out will not affect your ability to use the App's core features.
Even if you opt out of marketing communications, we may continue to send you essential, non-marketing communications, such as OTP verification messages and account, security, or service-related notices, which are necessary to operate your account.

4. Advertising, Analytics & Crash Reporting

Aanandam uses the following third-party services to operate, monetize, and improve the App:

Google AdMob: Used to display advertisements within the App. AdMob may collect and use device and advertising identifiers (such as your Google Advertising ID) to serve ads and measure their performance. You can limit ad personalization or reset your advertising identifier at any time from your device's privacy/ad settings, or via Google's Ads Settings at adssettings.google.com.
Firebase Crashlytics: Used to collect crash reports and diagnostic data (such as device model, OS version, and app logs at the time of a crash) to help us identify and fix technical issues and improve app stability.

These services are provided by Google LLC and are also governed by Google's own Privacy Policy, in addition to this Privacy Policy.

5. Sharing of Information

Aanandam does not share, sell, or transfer any of your Google account data with any third-party companies or services. We similarly do not share, sell, or rent your mobile phone number or SMS opt-in consent to any third party for their own marketing or promotional purposes. Aanandam may share the information collected from you in the following circumstances:

With service providers, contractors, and other third-party entities who assist us in operating the App and providing the services.
With Google AdMob and Firebase Crashlytics (Google LLC), for the purposes of serving advertisements and diagnosing app crashes, as described above.
With law enforcement agencies, government authorities, or third parties as required by law or to protect our legal rights.
In connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of all or a portion of our business assets, subject to appropriate confidentiality obligations.
With your consent or at your direction.

6. Data Storage, Retention & International Transfers

Your account and app data is primarily stored on secure servers hosted on Amazon Web Services (AWS) infrastructure located in India. However, certain data processed through third-party services such as Google AdMob and Firebase Crashlytics may be transferred to, and processed on, servers located outside India, in accordance with Google's own privacy and security practices.

We retain your personal information for as long as your Aanandam account remains active, and for a reasonable period thereafter as necessary to comply with our legal obligations, resolve disputes, prevent fraud, and enforce our agreements. Once this period lapses, we will delete or anonymize your personal information, unless a longer retention period is required by law.

7. Security Measures

Aanandam takes reasonable measures to protect the security and confidentiality of your information. However, please note that no data transmission or storage system can be guaranteed to be 100% secure.

Any Google account data associated with your Aanandam profile is stored securely on our servers for as long as you maintain an active Aanandam account.

8. Your Choices and Rights

You have the following rights with respect to your personal information held by Aanandam:

Access and Correction: You can access, review, and correct the Google account data associated with your Aanandam profile at any time by visiting your account settings.
Withdraw Consent: You may withdraw your consent to our collection, use, or disclosure of your personal information at any time by contacting us at info@adwicorp.com, subject to legal or contractual restrictions and reasonable notice.
Account and Data Deletion: You can delete your Aanandam account and associated data at any time directly within the App, under Account Settings > Delete Account, for both Google and mobile number (SMS) logins. You may also request deletion by emailing us at info@adwicorp.com.
Revoke Google Access: You also have the option to revoke Aanandam's access to your Google account data via your Google account settings, which will effectively delete your Aanandam account and all associated data.
Marketing Opt-Out: You can opt out of marketing SMS, push notifications, and promotional emails at any time from the App's Settings > Notification Preferences, without affecting your ability to use the App's core features.
Ad Personalization Opt-Out: You can limit ad personalization or reset your advertising identifier from your device's privacy/ad settings, or via Google's Ads Settings at adssettings.google.com.

9. Third-Party Links and Services

The App may contain links to third-party websites or services, and may display advertisements served by third-party advertisers through Google AdMob. Aanandam does not control and is not responsible for the privacy practices or content of such third parties or their advertisements. We encourage you to review the privacy policies of those third parties before providing any personal information.

10. Children's Privacy

The App is not intended for use by individuals under the age of 5+ years. Aanandam does not knowingly collect personal information from children under 5 years. If you believe that we have collected personal information from a child under 5 years, please contact us immediately.

11. Changes to This Privacy Policy

Aanandam may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of any material changes by posting the updated Privacy Policy on the App or through other appropriate communication channels.
